THE BODY

The body as an object.  The body as a still life.  The body as a prop.  Contorted body.  Body as a curvy urn to be papier mached.  A landscape.  A corset-laced piece of soft architecture.  Inside of an elbow.  Pit of a throat.  Teeth, bones, thighs, scar, patch of suspicious moles.  A collection of stray hairs, clippings, shavings to cast a spell.  The body as a shell.  The body as a portal.  The body as a vessel.  The body as a vehicle.  The body as an amusement park ride.  The body as a teacup without a handle.  The body as a broken toy.  The betraying body.  The deteriorating body.  The damaged body.   The invaded body.  The body as a mine field.  The body as a field of dead wild flowers.  The deforested body.  The body as a field research site.  The body as a sinuous expanse of experimental test pavement.  The body as a canvas.  A whorlish  collage of sweaty bodies one body on top of another body.  The surrendering body.  The deceitful body.  The manikin body on display.  The body as a temptation.  Alluring body.  Body as bait, product, hot commodity.  Blow up doll body.  Doll injection mold body.  Body as zone of self-hate.  The cut, slashed, burnt body.  The self-mutilated body trying to transcend.  The red glass Venus de Milo body, glowing like a beacon of seductive disfigurement.  Painted body.  Sculpted body.  Adorned body.  Airbrushed body.  Trick body.  The body as dessert.  As soft serve.  As a serving dish for sushi, nude and surrounded by businessmen with chopsticks clicking with eyes gleaming beads of seedy spittle.  The body underneath the body underneath the body. Multiplied in three-way mirrors, in lenses, online. Accentuate the body, attenuate the body, suck the fat out of the body, implant the body, electrolyze the body, exfoliate the body, make up, dress up, gussy up, truss up, fuck up.  Fuck the body.  The desecrated body.  The bleeding body.  The bandaged body.  The mummy body.  Unwrap the body.  Penetrate the body.  Get inside the body and look out the body’s eyes.  The body as a breeding ground.  The body as a battlefield.  The abused body.  The raped and pillaged body.  The ravaged body.  The resisting body.  The modified body.  The body as a hunger artist.  The body as an escape artist. The body as a spaceship.  The body as celestial.  The body as cosmic debris.  The body as a burial ground for unbearable shards and rare artifacts.  The body as a poem.
