Tesseract

"We can see the thing unraveled,
but not the thing itself."

        -Alex Garland

Tesla coils spark
in dark tunnels
as time unravels
in theories of chaos,
a defiance of order,
in negation of all equations.

Yet, who can deny that
jazz times DNA squared
equals inverted hypercube dreams
reflected in four-dimensional mirrors,
that blood times pulse
equals ink stains on the page?

Let there be sky,
synaptic lightning transcendence,
caffeined tesseract images
steeled to concrete reality.

We are still
the breath of the universe.
