Short stories, novel excerpts, dreams, thoughts, scribblings...
I am after experimental fiction, non-genre, erotica, horror, philosophical, noir, crime, hard-boiled, surreal.
50 - 3,000 words - but it is my experience that shorter fictions works better on the net, so I will usually give priority to those stories at the lower end of the word limit.
Please send no more than two works of fiction at a time.
Please check out the current theme. I WILL accept non-themed fiction, as long as it works within the isms (Surrealism/Expressionism/Existentialism) somehow.

Please send no more than 3 poems at a time.
There is no limit to line length and prose poems are welcome.
non-fiction
Articles/features which are arts-related, for instance, on a particular author or specific art-movement. Also, journal excerpts and articles on personal writing experiences.
Any response to previous work published in this zine can be emailed to me and may appear in the next issue, with the writer's permission.

Please send as a jpeg or gif, 4x6 @ 300dpi. No more than 3 at a time.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, as are previously published submissions, but please state where and when the piece appeared.
All work can be linked to a website of your choice so please include details of this with your submission.
Sein und Werden does not offer any payment to contributors. It is a non-profit making zine.
Each issue will stay online for 3 months, after which time it will be archived. The archives are easily accessible from each new issue and will not be removed.
